Lonely Tracks

Lonely TracksContinuing with more infrared shots from a trip to Cima, California.  This infrared is a little different than what I normally do.  In my normal infrared workflow, I usually do a complete desaturation for a complete black and white look.  I don’t know what it is with this scene that seemed to warrant keeping the reddish brown hue.  It almost looks like I added a sepia tone to the whole image.  Would love to hear your input.

One other thing I like about this image is how the shadows the clouds are producing can be seen as streaks through the sky.  It’s hard to see in the original, but the processing really brought it out.
