36°24'27" N 114°35'15" WMy apologies for the week long hiatus.  It was not only the first week of school for my daughter, but the first week of the semester for the university where I work.  Things have been a little hectic to say the least, but I’m back now and ready to share some more images with you.

Here we have another image from my latest trip out to Valley of Fire State Park.  This shot is of Valley of Fire Highway looking north.  The hill you see is right before the entrance to the park.  The drop off allows you to sneak a peak into the park off in the distance.  The peak is barely enough to really see what this park is known for, its bright fire red rock formations.  Next time I’ll be sharing a view towards the east which will give you a better idea of the view I’m referring to (map).
