Originally captured on July 14, 2007 while exploring the Spring Mountains to the west of Las Vegas, NV; this mountain is known as Mummy Mountain with the furthest right point of this picture representing the “feet” of the mummy. I’ve read that it is much easier to see if you’re on the other side of the mountain down on local highway US-95. You can read more about my day on the mountain on my personal blog here.
