Found this beautiful landscape time lapse video “Monolation” by Jess Dunlap. According to his post on Reddit (link),
I spent all of 2012 taking over 17,000 photos to make this time lapse video…
Digging a little deeper into that post you find that Jess used a Canon 7D combined with a Tokina 11-16 and a Sigma 10-20.
The video is really great work. I really like all the cloud movement as well as the unique change in camera speed. In a couple spots the camera is cruising along at a steady pace and then suddenly either speeds up or swivels around in a quick motion. This change of pace keeps you guess as to when the camera is going to speed up or slow down next.
