Now that I’ve finished up with the infrared shots from Zion it’s time to move on to another adventure.
This was taken on my way to a hike in Mojave National Park. This is the same trip I’d posted some color shots from earlier. Along the way to our hike I started down Ivanpah Road and it was as straight as an arrow. I went just past Morning Star Mine Road, my turn, pulled over, and setup in the middle of the road to get this photo. I’m really happy with the clouds and sky in this shot. In the desert southwest it is rare to get this much cloud in the sky. It normally only happens late fall through early spring. Outside of that window you usually get nothing but clear skies.
