Library of Congress Ceiling

Library of Congress CeilingLast photo, color photo that is, from my trip to Washington D.C.

Standing in the great hall of the Library of Congress is pretty amazing.  There is beauty everywhere.  I looked up and saw this scene before me and almost melted.  I took several different shots at different focal lengths.  Some closer, some further away.  This was the one I liked most.  I did have to do some cropping, nicking, and tucking here and there to get to what you see here, but it was well worth it.  When I look at it from afar I’m reminded of a postage stamp because of the arch pattern around the perimeter.
