While getting settled into our room in Reno I sent a request out to some old co-worker friends in the area for dinner suggestions for the daughter and I. I received a few and decided on a local joint named Cantina Los Tres Hombres located near the Victorian Square area of Sparks, Nevada. Knowing that it would get dark soon I grabbed my fastest lens, the 50mm f/1.8 II, and headed out the door.
After parking the car, we started the half block walk to the restaurant. Watching the sun fading fast, I walked up and down Victorian Avenue taking shots. There were several planters which contained the flowering bush you see here. I would guess my daughter and I spent 30 minutes walking up and down Victorian Avenue waiting for the last light of the sun to disappear over the horizon (map).
