This is the final photo from my photo walk along the Las Vegas strip. With the sun rapidly falling behind the Spring Mountains my light was fading fast. I sat down in front of The Palazzo and setup my tripod and camera and started framing. If you mouse over the shot you’ll see that I did very little processing of this image and it’s almost 100% straight out of camera. I purposely underexposed this shot by 2/3 of a stop to try to get both the hotel and sky to turn out and I feel it was successful. I really like the way this shot turned out. The colors, the clouds, and the symmetry turned out exactly how I’d hoped.
