After my hike along the Northgate Peaks Trail I ventured back into the main canyon of Zion National Park to take a stab at the Canyon Overlook Trail. The timing couldn’t have been better. Arriving just as the sun was setting over the west rim of the canyon, I started looking around for something to shoot. I wondered off away from all the people enjoying the outstanding view and found this little quiet spot. I setup my gear, fired away, and this is the result. I really tried to maintain a natural feel while trying to bring out all the color that was just burning that evening.
