Window at Fort Point

Here is another photo taken from inside Fort Point which is located in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area underneath the Golden Gate itself.

While exploring the for with my daughter we took a couple side trips down toward the end of some less frequented halls.  At the end of one hall there were a pair of windows that I’d hoped would create a cool shot.  I’m not really happy with the way the photo with both windows turned out, but this shot of just the one window I find much more pleasing.  The interior of the fort is a wonderful collection of all these bricks which all exhibit their own unique texture and color.  Certainly no two bricks are alike which I think really makes shots like this one stand out.
