Taken back at the end of September, I’m just now remembering to share this shot. I was on another random road trip through Death Valley and decided to poke around the Ashford Mills Ruins for some night photography. I spent a little over an hour shooting various compositions and light effects. I only had a small flashlight and my phone to light up the walls of the old ruins. It took several tries to finally get a good combination of composition and lighting. This is the result. Pretty happy for my first attempt at purposefully capturing the milky way (map).
