After my road trip I returned to my in-laws to spend the remainder of the weekend. As luck would have it my father-in-law’s Sago Palms were in bloom. Thankfully I had remembered to bring all my camera gear including my Mamiya Sekor M42 60mm f/2.8 Macro lens. This is an old M42 screw mount lens for older film cameras. I picked it up earlier this year while browsing through an antique store in Brookings, Oregon. I paid $20 for this lens and it is in absolutely amazing condition. Quite the steal compared to the $250-$600 copies I’ve seen listed on eBay.
