Have a couple quick infrared pics from my Washington D.C. trip. Actually I have exactly a couple. As the title suggests the other is of the capitol building.
When I took this I was purposely trying to frame the dome with the trees on each side and I think they do it well. There is a side of me that thinks it’s unfortunate that this picture was so early in the year because the trees are bare of foliage. Then again I like how the bare limbs break up the sky. If the trees had leaves the dome would be surrounded with bright white which I think would be distracting and actually take away from the scene.
