During a hike along the Pinto Valley Trail in the Lake Mead NRA we came across this great looking Desert Bighorn. The hike itself takes you along an old road that used to cross the valley. Near the end of the hike you climb out of a wash and up a hill following the reappeared road. During this climb I looked up and saw this bighorn staring back at me. Before I could bring my camera up to get a shot he had started bounding off down into the wash and back up the other side. Here he stopped where I got the photo you see here.
