Here is another photo of the same Desert Bighorn taken during a hike along the Pinto Valley Trail in the Lake Mead NRA. After the previous photo our surprise visitor continued to walk across the side of this hill opposite the wash from us. He kept cruising along until he ended up on this ridge. He stood here, just like this, for several minutes before we finally turned around and continued on our hike. We rounded a corner of the wash and turned around just in time to watch him turn and start down the other side out of sight.
