TailgateAs I mentioned with last week’s infrared photo I went a Meetup trip with local photography Meetup group Las Vegas Photo Safaris and this is the first of a handful of color shots from that outing.  One of the first things we did was get some lunch at Windmill Ridge.  Imagine this small establishment’s surprise when a group of a dozen or more photographers show up wanting some lunch.  They handled themselves pretty well all things considered.

After lunch most of us grabbed our gear and started exploring the rental cabins behind the restaurant.  Also back there were a couple very old wagons, a nice lawn, and a great view.  This is a shot of the tailgate of one of the wagons.  I really liked the texture of the wood and how time has aged different colors into the wood.
