On the northern leg of our February trip we stopped at Fort Point in the Golden Gate National Recreation area. We parked at a gravel lot just below the main visitor’s center but still far above Fort Point and Torpedo Point. Before starting the hike down to Fort Point I took a moment to grab this infrared shot.
In processing this image I started by applying my standard infrared formula. Then I went through and used Photoshop’s Adaptive Wide Angle tool to straighten out the towers of the bridge. The original didn’t need much straightening, but I think it helped improve the shot.
