 Back in late September a buddy and I went out to Death Valley to try to grab some sunset shots.  Unfortunately the winds were up and blowing dust everywhere making visible light photography difficult.  I got out my IR and snapped this shot as we were waiting for the sun to disappear behind the mountains.  I really like how you can see a clear definition of the light streaming down in the valley below (map).
