Earlier this year I ventured out to Mojave National Preserve near Cima, California. My goal was to hike east from Cima along the railroad tracks to photograph a sunset in near alignment with the same tracks I’d be following. Mojave Tracks at Sunset I and Mojave Tracks at Sunset II were the fruits of that labor. Getting to that spot required a 4.5 mile hike and provided some perfect light for some infrared shots along the way.
During my hike I walked along a small wash that paralleled the tracks I wanted to photography. Less than a half mile from where I parked I found this old chair just sitting there. I took several photos of it and this is the best.
