My Byways project would not be complete without shots from along The Mother Road included. To fix this fact, in late September I decided to make a road trip to a stretch of historic Route 66 that stretches from Kingman, Arizona to Needles, California by way of Oatman, Arizona. I made several stops along the drive and will be sharing several shots from along the way over the next couple days.
This particular shot came from just west of Cool Springs, Arizona. I could give you a whole history of Cool Springs, but I think it would be better to just link you to their website which is available here (map).
