34°14’56” N 118°5’33” W

While cruising along CA-2 I spotted a sign indicating “Mt. Wilson 5” turn right.  Always finding myself wondering, “I wonder where that goes?” I decided to take the quick detour to see what I could see.  The short drive was really fun but the weather made for few photo opportunities.  Clouds grew thicker and blotted out more and more of the sun I needed to get a good IR shot.  Also narrow roadway and narrow shoulders made for few opportunities to pull over.  I finally got the chance at a rather large pull out and snapped this shot before returning to CA-2 and continuing on my way (map).
