Back in November I made a road trip to Baker, California to meet with my mother-in-law.  The plan was for her to enjoy the long 5 day weekend with my daughter.  This of course freed me up for some photographic adventures.  Instead of returning to Vegas via I-15, I chose to take a detour through Mojave National Preserve.  This shot is looking east along Kelbaker Road just 9.5 miles east of Baker (map).
