After visiting Tower Bridge and relaxing for a bit it was time to head back. The trip back was pretty brutal being up hill the entire way with little to no real flat breaks. This section of the trail was truly other worldly. Trees were sparse and the ground appeared to be a solid crust over top of sand and gravel and various shades of red. I have another shot from this spot that I’ll share in color later (Google Map).
