Last month during one of my trips to southern California, the family and I made plans to go see Space Shuttle Endeavour at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. Instead of just walking into the hangar and feasting your eyes on this amazing vehicle, you first walk through a large display detailing different aspects of the shuttle and how Endeavour, specifically, was important to southern California. On display from the shuttle are the tires, electronics, galley, bathroom, and several other things. One of the cooler things was a brief movie documenting the process of moving Endeavour from LAX to its final resting spot 12 miles away.
