This is a second take at this location and this shot. I discovered this spot during my last trip to Valley of Fire, but the clouds that day were hit and miss and I didn’t get good IR response. Coupled with poor compositions I just didn’t really get the shot I wanted.
This trip I really took my time. I knew I wanted to use the object, I say object because I have no idea what that is, as a foreground element I just wasn’t sure about the mid- and background. I circled the thing a few times taking different shots at varying angles and I feel like this is the best of the bunch.
