Having spent a few hours at the Monterey Bay Aquarium I decided to cruise up the coast. I kept looking out my window admiring the scenery when I saw these massive swaths of pink flowers. I pulled over the first chance I got and started taking pictures. In this particular shot I got lucky with the sailboat in the background passing by. Would have loved to been on it enjoying the wonderful day.
